Flowers

Hi everyone, I have been very busy lately making mini album and I will post it on my blog after I complete everything. Anyway....... I have a card that I want to share with everyone and this card is also designed for Anything Goes Challenge Blog .

I made those flower on my own. The paper line that I use for the base here is Butterfly Garden from Pink Paislee and the flowers are from Tim Holtz Shabby Paper .  I use Tim holtz Tattered Florals die to build those flowers------ the bigest flower which is in light pink (three large petals, three medium petals and three small petals). The middle flower-----four of the medium long petals and the last flower is from EK Success punch. The blink that I use here is from Recollections.

It has been an honor to be a guest designer for Anything Goes Challenge Blog for July and I wish there will be many more to come.

If you have any question, please feel free to contact me. Thanks for the opportunity.

Easel Card

Hi everyone, I am back...... This week I am so honor to be a Guest Designer for Anything Goes Challenge Blog this month. This is one of the opportunity that I have been waiting for. Hooray!!!

As everyone knows that I am inspired by Tim Holtz. On this card, I use most of his elements to make it.

Here is the card:

I use one of my Accucut butterfly die to make the base of the easel card. I cut out the heart from medium-weight chipboard using Tim Holtz Heart Wings die. I painted it with red acrylic paint and apply a layer of Rock Candy over it. The wings and the sentiment is from one of the Tim holtz stamp set. I embossed the wings with gold embossing powder and cut those out by hand. The paper that I use here is also from Tim Holtz which is Vintage Shabby and Lost and Found paper stash. On the middle of the heart, I also use one of the Tim Holtz Philosophy Tags that you can get it in Craft Den Store.

Please stop by Anything Goes Challenge Blog to find out more creations. I will see you guys there.

Thanks for having me as a guest designer.

Please Leave a comment if you have any question. Thanks for stopping by.

Simon Says Stamp and Show a Word

Hi everyone, I come back with another project that I took few days to put all together..... a Vintage romantic decor. I also use this project to enter a challenge called Simon Says Stamp and Show . I was going to make a hanging decor, I tried to put something to hang it but I like it the way it is.

I adore vintage, collage and mixed media crafts, especially the techniques that apply to all those arts. Every pieces has its own uniqueness to it. I love, love, love it. Here is my Masterpiece......

I cut out 8*8 from paper box and decoupage it with text paper using Mod Podge (I like this technique a lot). The ornate frame is from sizzix. I dry embossed it, painted it with regular acrylic paints. I stamped "LOVE" with one of the Tim Holtz stamp with Fired Brick distress ink from Ranger. You also can see some shine to the "LOVE" because--------I applied some clear distress crackle paint, it also called Rock Candy. I know I put few words there but I would like to emphasize it.

I hope you all enjoying it. If you have any question, please let me know or leave a comment. Thanks.

I think the combination of the color will be a challenge for me. So, I decided to challenge myself and create this card:

This card I completed it today and it just hard to put those together plus I have to use at least three punches, and one of them have to be border punch. Challenging!!! Finally, I like the way it turn out and I am pretty satisfied with the result. I would like to play along in a near future. Thanks for stopping by.

I am using Tim Holtz patterned paper, bigz dies (Gadget Gears). For the metal here is also from Tim Holtz Ideology (Sprocket Gears). I used them right in the middle to the die cuts. I hope you guys can see it. I tore the edges and distress them with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I also used the die cut itself to mask the paper and spray with my homemade mist which is also Vintage Photo.

I enjoy creating and have so much fun to learn more techniques from all of the talented crafters and get inspired. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi, everyone... I am making this decor for my craft room and guess what -- entering the Studio L3 challenge for this week, Rusted Enamel technique..... The detail will be in Tim's book calls A Compendium of Curiosities.

All of the die cutting right here are All Tim's... Caged Bird, Baroque and Tattered Florals. The bird cage right here is made by the technique (Rusted Enamel) using Weathered Wood distress ink. Embossing

Here we go...

I like 3D projects. Besides to embellish the project with charms, buttons and so forth to give it some dimensions, embossing is one of the technique that I love the most because I like to give everything that I make a little dimensions and textures, no matter it is dry embossing or wet embossing. So, I decided to make a tag by using few techniques for my husband valentine's.

This tag right here is also to enter Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge this week: Embossing. As you can see, I used few of the Tim Holtz texture fade embossing folders for the background and the heart wings die. I applied Fired Brick Crackle Paint from Ranger to the heart and embossed it with UTEE. For the crown, I embossed it with gold embossing powder for few layers. The flower is made out of Tattered Florals die and the letter is from Tim Holtz Carnivale die.

I hope you all like it and please leave your lovely comment  right below here, thanks so much.

Valentine's Card

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.... I have made few cards with valentine theme......

This is one of the Valentine's Card. On this card, I applied few techniques to make this background. I like how it comes out and in love with this technique. Again..... I am using Tim Holtz texture fade embossing folder to dry emboss it and then I used Weathered Wood distress ink from Ranger to ink it up the raise part of the embossing area. Most of you guys know that distress ink can be an embossing ink, so I wet embossed it with clear embossing powder after I inked it up with distress ink. After that, I inked the background again with Walnut Stain distress ink. The Walnut Stain distress ink give it an old look to some of the area that is not being embossed. I like the effect very much and just could stop playing with this technique again.

I used Tim Holtz Heart Wings die and Tattered Florals die here. I used one of the coolest Tim Holtz texture fade embossing folder to emboss the heart and applied some pearl acrylic paint. If you guys have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will be very happy to answer and thanks for stopping by again...

Childhood Memory!!!

When it comes to my childhood, I think about my lovely mom. She is a talented women. She used to sew a lot back then but now she stops. She made curtain, bed sheet, blanket, pants and so forth. When we were young (with both of my sisters), my mommy made us a lot of scrunchies out of the pieces fabric that have to be trashed by her sewing company. I was impressed because she knows how to make all these things without teaching by others. Also, she made us pajamas. It was so lovely and beautiful....thanks a lot, mom.

This week, Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge is showing some childhood memory. I have made this project with sewing theme that tight closely with my mom. Enjoy.

This project, I used 6*9 in. clasp envelope. I got this idea from Prima Makerting Gallery. I think it is good idea that make a window like that and also can fit dimensional embelishments instead of making a shadow box. I used one of the Prima Lace stamp, Tim Holtz stamps and the one that look like script is from Inkadinkado. I used Walnut Stain distress ink to distress the edge of the whole envelope and for stamping too. I also used Fired Brick distress ink on my stamping.

This window is cut by using Tim Holtz Bigz Die Ornamental and the image I got inside the envelope are from Clearly Vintage (http://clearlyvintage.blogspot.com/) and Vintage Feed Sacks (http://vintagefeedsacks.blogspot.com/).

For this flower, I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. I used two of the medium flower and used tweezers to give it a texture and twist. In the middle is the baby prima that I made which is inspired by Prima Makerting.

If you guys have any question, please email me and thanks for stopping by......

Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge: Polka Dots

This time I am making home decor. I would like to decorate my craft room with all my master pieces, so when people come to my home, I have something to show them already...

This project, I am mostly using Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz Dies which are Tattered Florals for both of the flowers, Caged Bird and Ornamental. For the yellow flower, I used Hero Arts Raindrop background stamp, and the other one, I dry embossed it with Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks.

Flowers....

I like to make paper flowers and so addicted to it. Once I started making those flowers, just cannot stop making them, keep prepping and producing, which is good for me because I have a nine-month old son. He is always keeping me busy. So prepping is good for me. Whenever I feel like I want to make cards, I just find some coordinate color flower to match the card that I will be making. Here is one of them:

The card is inside the box
Here is the closer look of the flower. Again, I used Tim Holtz Tattered Florals bigz die to create this flower. The one in the middle of the flower is made by using EK Success flower punch. I used some feathers, ribbon and burlap behind the flower.

I hope you all like it and I am looking forward to produce more of those amazing flowers. Thanks for the inspirations and the tutorials that are available on You Tube. Thanks for visiting.
